Shipping Policy

At See's Candies: Candies & Chocolates Online | Candy Store, we carefully handle your order from our kitchen all the way to your doorstep. Here is our step-by-step process and what you can expect when ordering from us.

Order Processing

We process orders Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Most orders ship within 1-3 business days. Please note the following timing rules:

Orders placed after 6:30 AM PST on a business day will be processed the following business day.
Weekend orders begin processing on the next business day.

Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email that includes tracking information to monitor your package’s journey.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs vary based on your order total and shipping destination within the continental United States as follows:

Orders $80 and over: Free standard shipping
Orders $45 to $79.99: $7.95 standard shipping
Orders under $45: $9.95 standard shipping

These fees apply per shipment. If your order ships in multiple packages, each shipment may have its own shipping fee calculated and displayed at checkout.

Delivery Times

Standard delivery times after your order ships are:

3-7 business days within the United States
7-21 business days for international deliveries, subject to customs clearance

Please allow extra time for customs processing when ordering internationally. For urgent needs, expedited shipping options are available at checkout.

Warm Weather Shipping

Because we ship fine chocolates and candies, temperature is critical for safe delivery:

During hot weather, your order will be packed with insulated materials and shipped via expedited methods to protect against melting.
If weather conditions at the destination are too extreme, we may delay shipments to ensure the quality of your treats. You will be informed if your order is held.
Between late spring and early fall, we typically do not ship orders on Thursdays or Fridays to avoid exposure to heat over weekends in transit.

Shipping Locations

We deliver to most addresses within the United States and select international destinations. If your address is not available at checkout, it means we are currently unable to ship there due to regulatory or carrier restrictions.

We do ship to PO boxes and APO/FPO addresses for most items; however, delivery times may be extended and freshness cannot be guaranteed for temperature-sensitive products sent to these locations.

Tracking Your Order

After your order ships, you will receive a tracking number. You can use this number on the carrier’s website to check your package’s status and estimated delivery date. Tracking updates may sometimes pause for a few days due to batch scanning.

If your tracking shows no progress for more than 10 business days beyond the estimated delivery, please contact us via the store's contact page to assist you with investigating the delay.

Address Accuracy

Please verify your shipping address carefully before completing checkout. We cannot change the shipping address after an order is placed. If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, we will contact you to arrange re-shipment. Additional shipping fees will apply for redelivery.

Missing or Lost Packages

If your package is marked as delivered but you have not received it, first check with neighbors or your building’s mailroom. If it remains missing, please reach out to us through the contact page so we can work with the carrier on your behalf.

International Orders

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees charged by their country. These costs are separate from what you pay us at checkout. Since these fees vary widely, we recommend checking with your local customs office before placing an order if you are concerned about additional charges.
